Congratulations on your engagement and thank you for choosing MAC Events to provide musical entertainment for your big day!

It’s time to start planning! Here’s what you can expect from us:

  • Seriously! If you have a question during the planning process, please call or email us. We want to make sure you feel as comfortable as possible with the logistics, music, and guest experience. Check out some of our favorite resources below!

  • Just to hit home that we really are here to help, we offer unlimited meetings with your package.

  • By now, you’ve paid your $500 retainer fee. The balance of your invoice is due the night of your wedding, however, we recommend paying beforehand to eliminate any unnecessary stress on your wedding day. The last thing you want to do is set down that glass of champagne to grab your checkbook.

  • This is the big one! Music choices are catered to your likes and dislikes. Please make sure when filling out the planning app that you mark any songs you would not like played, specifically in the open dance portion of the evening. We do take guest requests but will reference your likes & dislikes before playing the requested song.

  • On your wedding day, we arrive no later than 2.5 hours before guest seating time. This is to ensure that everything is set up and sounding great before we kick off the big event! We will handle announcements and the flow of your reception by working with your vendors and venue staff to take the burden off of you.

  • Meals for your DJ are not required but are appreciated.

  • We do not include gratuity in the final contract price. 10-20% is generally recommended if your DJ did a great job but it is entirely up to you. Each DJ is equipped with a card “swiper” and is able to accept tips or additional payments during or after the event.
